Layouts

blast from the past

Depending on your browser, images will open in a new window/tab.

Layout: Clubbing, by Kristen (ca. 2003-2004)
Featuring: Phineas, Ethan and a duck. Art by Niko.
Notes: This layout is a tribute to my discovery of a lot of fun but blinding visual effects in Photoshop. This image was also the last that Niko ever colored in cel-style. The text is not original text from the layout, and the original had a drop down menu just under the main frame (this was back when I was in love with using frames).

Layout: My Escape, by Kristen (ca. 2004-2005)
Featuring: Julian and Teyen. Art by Niko.
Notes: Another layout involving a little art and a lot of Photoshop, also using frames, and also originally sporting a dropdown menu under the main frame. I only have an amalgamation of the original layout images, but not a screencap of the image itself. I got a lot of flak from friends for using an image like this--it's from ML's more angsty, teenage days.

Layout: Rabble Rouser, by Kristen (ca. 2005)
Featuring: Phineas. Art by Niko. Lyrics are from "Rabble Rouser" by MDFMK (KMFDM).
Notes: My last frames layout, also missing the original menu (I can't remember if it was a dropdown menu or not). I don't have much to say about this one, except that I was pretty pleased with it from at the time, and I still think it's okay.

Layout: Inhuman, by Kristen (January 2006-May 2007)
Featuring: Teyen. Art by Kristen.
Notes: The coloration is due to Teyen's birthday being on Halloween. Unlike the previous layouts, this image is an actual screencap of the layout (ironic, since that's the last time I updated the site before May, 2007, and it says I'm going to update monthly). This one used tables instead of frames, and every page but this main one was this image of Teyen to the side and the page content to his left.

Layout: Solace, by Kristen (June 2007-June 2008)
Featuring: None. Banner made by Niko.
Notes: I decided to go for a more straightforward, easy-to-navigate layout for our big reopening. There is no character featured in part because we didn't want any visible spoilers, and partly because if I get lazy, I could just change the banner instead of making a whole new layout. >3
